The State Society for the Management of Innovation and Tourism Technologies (SEGITTUR) and the Spanish Network for Accessible Tourism (redestable) will collaborate to promote accessible tourism, a key element in the transformation of destinations into smart tourist destinations.
The agreement was signed yesterday in Madrid by the president of SEGITTUR, Antonio Lopez de Avila, and the president of the Spanish Network for Accessible Tourism, Diego J. González.
With the improved accessibility of a destination, the incorporation of people with disabilities as tourists is achieved. It also benefits seniors and all those who, for different reasons, require special facilities. On the other hand, the level of satisfaction of all tourists increases.
