The Town Hall of Tías projects a new office in the beach of “Los Pocillos”

The two tourism offices in the town of Puerto del Carmen have been distinguished by the Institute for Spanish Tourist Quality (ICTE) with the seal for its high quality. The mayor of Tías, Pancho Hernández, accompanied by the Councilor for Tourism, Amado Jesus Vizcaíno, and the Councilor for Beaches, Nerea Santana, have delivered the emblems to the staff that the Department of Tourism of Tías has in the information points in “La Tiñosa” (in “El Fondeadero” Center), and in Avenida de las Playas, next to the “Playa Grande” in Puerto del Carmen.

Since this July, at the beginning of the summer season, both municipal facilities exhibit the stamps accredited by the Integral System of Tourist Quality in Destination (SICTED) that certify the excellence they provide in the development of their tourist activity.

The badge is the support that accredits compliance with the requirements established in the methodology and recognizes the effort and commitment to quality and continuous improvement, while distinguishing the company from the competition. The mark has biennial validity, although it is conditioned to an annual monitoring evaluation. The visual identity standards that are available to the distinguished on the SICTED platform must be applied.
