The 8th European Conference on Sustainable Cities and Towns, the European conference of reference on local sustainable development, will be held from the 27th – 29th of April in Bilbao, Basque Country. More than 1,000 representatives of local and regional governments, European and international institutions, multilateral organisations, members of the research community, business leaders and civil society will participate in the event.
After the UN Summit to adopt the Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development and the Summit on Climate Change in Paris COP21, it is the reference event in Europe in 2016 for discussion and exchange of experiences on local sustainability.
