The president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote announces that in 2016 he will promote ‘an ambitious employment project linked to the recovery of abandoned and degraded land in La Geria’

Pedro San Gines and Antonio Morales visited the area of ‘Barranco del Obispo’ to congratulate and to add value to the work carried out by the crew of ‘Grevislan’ (Adislan’s subsidiary), who have recovered a total of 17 hectares in La Geria.

Amongst the actions that the Cabildo of Lanzarote develops through the global project ‘Save La Geria’, the Special Employment Centre Grevislan, a subsidiary of Adislan whose purpose is the employment of people with disabilities on the islands of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, has recovered to date a total of 17 hectares of abandoned farms and degraded spaces in the protected natural and agricultural environment of La Geria.
