The Cabildo’s Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans for both Arrecife and Playa Honda are co-financed by the Cabildo itself, and EDUSI funds as part of the European-wide ERDF Operational Programme 2014-2020

The plan has been given a 32,000 euro investment to improve the circulation of traffic in this residential and industrial town in the San Bartolomé municipality by implementing more sustainable and user-friendly ways to move people and goods.

The Lanzarote Cabildo has confirmed that it has just contracted the technical and project management consultancy which will be tasked with implementing the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP) for Playa Honda in the municipal district of San Bartolomé. The plan aims to provide a means to structure and plan the transport and mobility of people and merchandise by implementing more efficient and sustainable ways of getting around.
