Cabildo de Lanzarote presented its new campaign of sensitization and awareness of the Biosphere Reserve.

On October 7, 1993 the island of Lanzarote was declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. A date marked in the calendar that next year will celebrate its 25th anniversary.

In this context, Cabildo de Lanzarote, through its Biosphere Reserve bureau, has developed a new campaign of awareness raising and sensitization aimed at highlighting the perfect symbiosis achieved in Lanzarote between man and nature, which – among other factors – made it to the island as a whole deserving of that title and that is being spread, mainly, through the social networks.

A recognition and feeling of belonging to a territory, an island declared a Biosphere Reserve that must “care for, embrace, feel, live, respect and share.” These are the main messages and feelings that have been wanted to move in this campaign of sensitization full of sensitivity carried out by seven people in which you can see the reflection of what Lanzarote is, and as it says in the messages of this campaign: “Lanzarote is the reflection of its inhabitants”, “An island to feel”.

The videos are available for download and viewing on the web http://www.lanzarotebiosfera.org/ , on the YouTube channel of the Cabildo de Lanzarote www.youtube.com/comunicacioncabildo/ and have been published progressively from last Tuesday in the social networks of the Cabildo and the Biosphere Reserve (www.facebook.com/cabildodelanzarote twitter @cabildolanzarote and www.facebook.com/reservadelabiosferadelanzarote www.facebook.com/aguitaconelplastico , among others)
