The Cabildo of Lanzarote brings the magic of the Biosphere Reserve to every corner of the island through the play “La Leyenda de la Isla Quemada” (The Legend of the Burnt Island)

“It’s the story of a magical island doomed by a prophecy, which if fulfilled, would lose its magic …”.

And so begins “The Legend of the Burnt Island “, the play will tour by several scenarios of Lanzarote, since this coming Thursday, September 22, from 19:30 pm in Playa Honda.

A theatre play of Salvador Leal and the theater company Losótroh, created and produced commissioned by the Office of the Biosphere Reserve led by President of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Pedro San Ginés, to continue disseminating the values and importance of living and retain declared by UNESCO Biosphere Reserve space.

The play aims to amuse and entertain, through a narrative and allegorical representation with a deep burden of symbolism and awareness of our environment and the milieu.

“The Legend of the Burnt Island” will last for sixty minutes; free entrance and will be aimed for all audiences.
